PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. This Agreement may be presented to you on a store page (for example, Steam) before you download the Software, or inside the Software itself after installation. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software, you ("you" or "User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (this "Agreement"). If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Software. You accept this Agreement by clicking "I Agree" (or equivalent), by downloading or installing the Software, or by using it.
In Brief
This is a plain-language summary. It does not replace the full terms below; if the summary and the full terms ever conflict, the full terms control.
- A Steam account is required. The AI features of the Software run through an online service operated by the Developer (the "AI Service") and are tied to your Steam account. You sign in with Steam. There is no separate account and no password to remember.
- AI usage is metered with Story Credits. Every AI request consumes your Story Credit balance. The Game includes a free starter allowance so you can play immediately. When it runs out, you can top up with more Story Credits.
- Story Credits are purchased through Steam. All purchases are made from Valve through your Steam Wallet, using Steam's in-game purchase flow. We never take payment from you directly. Story Credits are a virtual in-game allowance: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency.
- Purchased credits last five (5) years. Story Credits you purchase expire, and are forfeited, five years after the purchase is granted to you. The free starter allowance is promotional and may be reduced or discontinued over time.
- Refunds are handled by Steam. Because purchases happen on Steam, Valve's refund policy applies. If Steam reverses or refunds a purchase, the Story Credits from that purchase are revoked — and if you already spent them, your AI access may be suspended until the matter is resolved (Section 5.5).
- Your sign-in session is stored in your operating system's keychain — never in your save file. Anyone who can use your computer's user account can spend your Story Credits; use separate user accounts on shared machines.
- Your prompts and game state pass through our service to AI providers. When you
play, your input and the current game state are sent to the Developer's AI Service,
which forwards them to AI model providers (including OpenRouter and its suppliers) to
generate the story. See our Privacy Notice (
legal/PRIVACY.md). - Your AI interactions are retained for safety and quality. We store raw player input, generated responses, the model and provider, a timestamp, and a pseudonymous player tag in Langfuse, an AI observability platform hosted in the United States. Automated tools and authorized Ten Turtle Games staff may review flagged or sampled records for moderation, abuse prevention, debugging, and quality improvement. We do not use them to train AI models.
- AI output can be wrong, offensive, or harmful. The Software generates content with AI in real time without human review before it is displayed. Automated safeguards and retrospective moderation reduce, but cannot eliminate, unsuitable output. Use your own judgment. It is not professional, educational, medical, legal, or translation advice.
- The Software is provided "AS IS" with no warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, the Developer's liability is limited as described in Section 11.
- Adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Software.
1. Definitions
- "Agreement" means this End User License Agreement, including all sections.
- "AI Service" means the online service operated by the Developer through which the Software's AI features are delivered, including the Developer's servers and any AI model providers the Developer uses (including OpenRouter and the operators of the underlying AI models).
- "Story Credits" means the virtual, non-transferable in-game allowance denominated as "Story Credits" that is consumed by use of the AI Service. The Story Credit cost of AI requests may vary by model and over time.
- "Entitlement" means the total Story Credit allowance associated with your Steam account at a given time, consisting of your starter allowance (if any) plus purchased Story Credits that have not been consumed, expired, or revoked.
- "Session Token" means the credential issued to the Software by the AI Service when you sign in with Steam, stored in your operating system's credential store.
- "Generated Content" means any text, output, or material produced by the AI Service and displayed or used within the Software.
- "AI Interaction Record" means the record retained by the Developer for an AI interaction: raw player input, Generated Content returned by the AI Service, the model and provider, a timestamp, and a pseudonymous player identifier.
- "Game State" means the current state of your game — your progress, the world, and everything the Software records about your playthrough other than your Session Token.
- "Save Data" means the local database file (and related files) in which the Software stores your Game State, settings, and history. Save Data does not include your Session Token, which is stored separately in your operating system's credential store (see Section 4.2).
- "Steam", "Steam Account", and the "Steam Subscriber Agreement" (the "SSA") have the meanings given by Valve Corporation ("Valve") at https://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/.
- "Software" means Lost Gaijin (the "Game"), including the application, documentation, updates, and the compilation as a whole. Third-party components and data retain their own licenses and are subject to Section 14.3. "Software" and "Game" refer to the same thing throughout this Agreement.
2. Acceptance of This Agreement; Relationship to Steam
By installing, accessing, or using the Software, you confirm that: (a) you have read and understand this Agreement; (b) you agree to be bound by it; (c) you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement; and (d) if any obligation herein is prohibited by the law of your jurisdiction, you will not perform that obligation and may not use the affected feature. If you do not agree, you may not install or use the Software and must uninstall and delete all copies.
This Agreement is an agreement between you and the Developer only. It is intended to operate as subscription terms for the Software within the meaning of the SSA. Your use of the Software through Steam is also governed by the SSA, the Steam Online Conduct Rules, the Steam Privacy Policy, and the Steam Refund Policy. If this Agreement and the SSA (or other mandatory Steam rules) conflict, the SSA controls with respect to your use of Steam and purchases made on Steam; this Agreement controls with respect to the Software and the AI Service.
The Developer is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Valve. "Steam" and the Steam names and logos are trademarks of Valve.
3. Grant of License
Subject to your ongoing compliance with this Agreement, the Licensor grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and run the Software on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
This Agreement does not grant you any right to:
- redistribute, sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the Software;
- use the Software to provide a paid or hosted service to third parties, or commercially exploit the Software or its branding (for example, by reselling, re-licensing, or operating it as a product or service);
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the limited extent that applicable law prohibits this restriction;
- remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices; or
- use the Software to develop a competing product.
These restrictions apply to the Developer's proprietary material and to the Software as a compilation. They do not limit rights granted directly to you by the licenses of third-party components or data identified in Section 14.3.
The Software is proprietary. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the Licensor.
4. Your Account, Sign-In, and Session Storage
4.1 You Sign In With Steam
The AI features require the AI Service, and the AI Service requires a Steam account. When you sign in, Steam issues a short-lived cryptographic proof of your identity (an auth session ticket); the Software sends that proof to the AI Service, which verifies it with Steam and issues a Session Token to the Software. The Software never sees or handles your Steam password.
Use of the AI Service is tied to your Steam account. Do not share your Steam account for the purpose of sharing AI access: Story Credit entitlements are personal to your Steam account and your use of them is subject to the SSA, including Valve's rules on account sharing.
4.2 Session Tokens Are Stored in Your Operating System's Credential Store
Your Session Token is saved using your operating system's native secure storage: Windows Credential Manager on Windows, Keychain on macOS, and the Secret Service API (any compatible secret-service implementation) on Linux. This store encrypts the Session Token at rest and ties it to your operating-system user account. The Software does not write your Session Token to your Save Data, to any plain-text file, or to any location other than that store.
Because storage is tied to your user account and device, your Session Token is not portable: if you install the Software on another machine, you will sign in again. A Session Token grants access to your Story Credit Entitlement. Anyone who can sign in to your operating-system user account can use the Software with your Session Token and consume your Story Credits. Use a separate operating-system user account for each person on shared devices, and sign out (Settings → Sign Out) before handing over a device. You are responsible for charges and usage that occur through your Session Token.
Malware or another process running as your user may read your Session Token while the credential store is unlocked. You accept all remaining risk and are solely responsible for securing your device and accounts. If you believe a Session Token has been compromised, use Sign Out in the Software's settings (which revokes it on this device) and contact us.
Linux requirement. On Linux, a Secret Service API-compatible secret-service daemon
and the libsecret runtime library are required. If they are missing, the Software will
not be able to store your Session Token and will prompt you to set them up before you
can continue.
4.3 Your Save Data Does NOT Contain Your Session Token
Your local database file (your Save Data) contains your Game State and settings — but not your Session Token. Your Save Data is safe to share, back up, or move; it does not disclose any live credential, and backups of it do not copy your Session Token.
5. Story Credits and Purchases
5.1 How the AI Service Is Metered
Use of the AI Service consumes Story Credits. The amount consumed varies with the AI model, the length of the conversation, and the content generated; the Software displays your remaining balance. The Developer curates which AI models are available and may add, remove, or reprice models at any time, which changes how quickly Story Credits are consumed.
5.2 All Purchases Happen on Steam
Story Credits may be purchased only through Steam's in-game purchase functionality using your Steam Wallet. All purchases are transactions with Valve under the SSA. The Developer does not sell Story Credits directly, does not process your payment, and does not receive your payment information. Do not attempt to purchase Story Credits through any other channel; the Software contains no other purchase facility.
5.3 Nature of Story Credits
Story Credits are a limited, revocable license to consume AI Service capacity. They are not property, have no cash value, are non-transferable (they cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or moved between Steam accounts), and — consistent with the SSA and Valve's requirements — cannot be redeemed or exchanged for real-world currency or for Steam Wallet funds. Story Credits are usable only within the Software.
5.4 Expiration
Story Credits that you purchase expire, and are forfeited without compensation, five (5) years after the purchase that granted them is credited to your account. The free starter allowance is promotional, carries no fixed term, and may be reduced, capped, or discontinued for new or existing players at any time.
5.5 Refunds and Reversals
Because purchases occur on Steam, refund rights are governed by Valve's Refund Policy (and, for EU and UK consumers, the statutory withdrawal information Valve provides) — not by the Developer. The Developer does not issue refunds and cannot override Valve's refund decisions.
If Steam refunds, reverses, or charges back a purchase, the Story Credits from that purchase are revoked and your Entitlement is reduced accordingly. If you have already consumed more than your revised Entitlement, your access to the AI Service may be suspended (while the Game itself remains installed) until your Entitlement again covers your consumption, you purchase additional Story Credits, or the Developer resolves the overdrawn state in your favor. The Developer may also revoke Story Credits obtained through fraud, abuse, or error.
6. The AI Service and Acceptable Use
6.1 Availability and Curated Models
The AI Service is an online service. It depends on systems operated by the Developer, by Cloudflare, by OpenRouter, and by the underlying AI model providers, as well as on Steam for sign-in and purchasing. None of these is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. The AI Service may be slow, rate-limited, degraded, or unavailable at times, and the curated model list may change. The Game's non-AI features remain usable locally when the AI Service is unavailable.
6.2 Acceptable Use
When using the AI Service, you agree to comply with the Steam Online Conduct Rules and applicable law, and you agree not to:
- use any form of automation (scripts, bots, macros, or other non-human-controlled systems) to interact with the AI Service, including to generate text or consume or harvest Story Credits without genuine play;
- attempt to extract, reconstruct, or reuse the Developer's or any provider's AI model access outside the Software (including by intercepting credentials or replaying requests);
- attempt to circumvent metering, spending limits, entitlement enforcement, safety policies, content filters, or OpenRouter Guardrails;
- resell, share, or proxy AI Service access to third parties; or
- submit or request content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, exploitative of minors, hateful or discriminatory, targeted harassment, intended to facilitate wrongdoing or serious harm, patently offensive or intended to shock, defamatory, threatening, or infringing of any person's rights.
Violation of this Section 6.2 may result in suspension or termination of your access to the AI Service, at the Developer's discretion, without refund of consumed Story Credits. Your license to the Game itself is unaffected except as provided in Section 15.
6.3 Safety Controls, Logging, and Moderation
AI requests are subject to the Developer's safety policies and to OpenRouter Guardrails, which may detect and block prompt-injection attempts and may detect, block, or redact sensitive information before a request reaches an underlying model. These automated controls may reject a request or return an error instead of Generated Content. They do not detect every violation and do not guarantee that unsuitable content will never be generated.
The Developer creates an AI Interaction Record for each request. Automated systems may analyze these records for policy violations, abuse, safety issues, copyright concerns, and output-quality problems. Authorized Ten Turtle Games staff may review records that are flagged, reported, or selected as limited quality samples. The Developer does not engage contractors to review AI Interaction Records and does not use the records to train or fine-tune AI models.
The Developer may respond to suspected or confirmed violations by blocking requests, changing prompts or filters, removing a model or provider, restricting or suspending AI Service access, preserving relevant records, or taking other reasonable protective action. Collection, storage, review, retention, and deletion are described in the Privacy Notice.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Generated Content is produced by AI in real time. Automated safeguards are applied, but no person approves each response before it is displayed. The Developer may analyze and review AI Interaction Records after generation as described in Section 6.3. Despite these measures, Generated Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, biased, offensive, culturally insensitive, or otherwise unsuitable. Because the Software is a Japanese-language game set in Japan, Generated Content may also misrepresent Japanese language, culture, geography, history, or people.
The Developer does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, legality, safety, appropriateness, or fitness of any Generated Content for any purpose. Generated Content is not professional, educational, medical, psychological, legal, or translation advice, and must not be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for evaluating Generated Content and for any decision you make or action you take based on it.
8. Privacy and Data
The Developer acts as a data controller for the personal data described in this Section. In summary:
- Sign-in. When you sign in, the AI Service receives your SteamID (a numeric identifier for your Steam account), verifies your identity with Steam, and issues a Session Token. A pseudonymized identifier derived from your SteamID (not the SteamID itself) is attached to AI requests for abuse-prevention purposes. The AI Service also stores your public Steam display name with your account record for sign-in confirmation and support.
- AI requests. When you play, the text you type, relevant parts of your Game State, and your conversation history are transmitted from your device to the AI Service and forwarded to AI model providers (including OpenRouter and its suppliers) to generate the story. Those providers process your data under their own privacy policies, which the Developer does not control.
- AI interaction records. The Developer retains raw player input, generated responses, the model and provider, a timestamp, and the pseudonymized identifier in Langfuse, an AI observability platform hosted in the United States, mirrored there through OpenRouter's observability integration. The Langfuse record does not contain your SteamID. Automated systems analyze records for moderation, safety, abuse prevention, debugging, and quality improvement. Authorized Ten Turtle Games staff may review flagged, reported, or sampled records. Contractors do not perform these reviews, and the records are not used to train or fine-tune AI models.
- Usage and purchase records. The Developer keeps records of Story Credit consumption and purchase entitlements (identified by SteamID) to operate the metering and handle refunds and reversals.
- Local data. The Developer does not collect telemetry, crash reports, or analytics from the Software. Your Save Data stays on your device, but the AI interaction fields identified above are retained separately by the AI Service.
Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information into
the Software — it will be transmitted to the AI Service and third-party AI providers,
and may be retained in an AI Interaction Record before an automated guardrail can detect
it. Full details, retention criteria, review practices, and your rights are in the
Developer's Privacy Notice (legal/PRIVACY.md), which is part of this Agreement by
reference. Valve is a separate, independent controller of your Steam account data; your
use of Steam is governed by the Steam Privacy Policy.
9. Save Data, Backups, and Data Loss
Your Save Data is stored locally. The Developer is not responsible for lost, corrupted, inaccessible, or accidentally deleted Save Data. You are encouraged to maintain your own backups; as noted in Section 4.3, your backups will not contain your Session Token. The Software may change its storage format over time; the Developer does not guarantee that Save Data from one version will remain usable in future versions.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE AND THE AI SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LICENSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SOFTWARE OR THE AI SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI SERVICE WILL WORK WITH ANY PARTICULAR MODEL, THAT ANY MODEL WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE, OR THAT THE SECURITY OF YOUR LOCALLY STORED DATA OR SESSION TOKEN WILL BE ADEQUATE. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE DEVELOPER CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT STATED HERE.
11. Limitation of Liability
Consumer rights savings clause. For consumers with habitual residence in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand, nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts, or modifies the application of any guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be so excluded, restricted, or modified, including those conferred by applicable consumer law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, THE SOFTWARE, THE AI SERVICE, OR YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SOFTWARE OR THE AI SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, AND EVEN IF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE LICENSOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR:
- unauthorized access to, disclosure of, or misuse of your Session Token, Steam account, or Save Data;
- suspension, termination, or other action taken by Valve or any AI provider;
- inaccuracies, defects, offensiveness, or unlawfulness of any Generated Content;
- outages, errors, or changes at any AI model provider, OpenRouter, Cloudflare, or Steam;
- loss, expiry, or forfeiture of Story Credits, except as expressly stated in Section 5;
- data loss or corruption; or
- the amount by which a refunded purchase was already consumed as Story Credits.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, THE SOFTWARE, OR THE AI SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE LICENSE TO THE GAME ITSELF (excluding amounts paid for Story Credits, and excluding taxes). IF YOU OBTAINED THE GAME FREE OF CHARGE, THE LICENSOR'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (WHICH MAY BE NOTHING). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIABILITY LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, THE LICENSOR'S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Licensor and their affiliates, successors, assigns, officers, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, settlements, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- your use or misuse of the Software or the AI Service;
- your violation of this Agreement, including Section 6.2 (Acceptable Use);
- your Session Token, Steam account, Save Data, or your failure to secure them;
- your violation of the SSA, the Steam Online Conduct Rules, or any AI provider's terms, policies, or rate limits;
- any content you submit, generate, or transmit through the AI Service; or
- your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
13. Age Requirement
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to install or use the Software. By using the Software, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. The Software generates AI content in real time without human review before display. Automated safety controls and retrospective moderation are used, but Generated Content may nevertheless be unsuitable or offensive. The Developer does not knowingly make the Software available to anyone under 18.
14. Intellectual Property
14.1 The Software
The Software, including all code, text, graphics, audio, design, and other content created by the Developer, is proprietary and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. The Developer retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software. This Agreement grants you only a limited license (Section 3), not ownership. No rights in the Developer's trademarks or trade names are granted, and no license or right is granted in any Valve trademark.
14.2 Generated Content
Generated Content is produced by AI providers. Whether any person can own or enforce rights in AI-generated material varies by provider and by jurisdiction. The Developer makes no representation or warranty that you have any rights in Generated Content, and you are bound by the intellectual-property terms of the provider that produced it.
14.3 Bundled Third-Party Data
The Software bundles third-party components and datasets under their own licenses. Those materials are not relicensed under this Agreement. Each recipient receives the rights granted directly by the applicable third-party license, including any rights to extract, modify, or redistribute the material. No restriction in this Agreement applies to third-party material to the extent that it conflicts with those rights, and the Developer does not impose additional technological restrictions on exercise of those rights.
When an applicable third-party license requires attribution, notices, source
identification, modification disclosure, or share-alike distribution, you must
preserve those requirements. Materials released under CC0 impose no attribution
condition. Details and license texts are provided in the Credits screen and the
legal-notice files under bun/legal/. The bundled materials include:
- Jitendex (Japanese–English dictionary), incorporating JMdict/EDICT and Tatoeba data — licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0;
- KANJIDIC2 (kanji character dictionary) — CC BY-SA 3.0;
- Jiten word-frequency data — CC BY-SA 4.0;
- Tofugu / WaniKani vocabulary pronunciation audio — CC BY-SA 4.0;
- MeCab morphological analyzer (BSD 3-Clause) and IPAdic lexical dictionary (NAIST / ICOT Free Software);
- MLIT administrative boundary data (国土数値情報) — CC BY 4.0;
- ERA5 and ERA5-Land reanalysis (Copernicus / ECMWF) — CC BY 4.0; and
- CHELSA-monthly V2.1 climate data (WSL) — CC0 1.0.
15. Termination and Suspension
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically and without notice if you fail to comply with any term.
Suspension of the AI Service (for example, for violation of Section 6.2 or an overdrawn Entitlement under Section 5.5) is not a termination of this Agreement: the Game remains installed and its local features remain usable, but AI features will not function during suspension.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies, including your Save Data. Story Credits, Entitlements, and Session Tokens are revoked upon termination. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14) shall survive. The Developer may discontinue, change, or stop offering the Software or the AI Service at any time, without notice and without liability, except as provided in Section 11.
16. Updates to This Agreement and to the Software
The Developer may update or replace this Agreement from time to time by changing the version and effective date. When the Developer does so, the Software will present the revised Agreement for your acceptance. Your continued use of the Software after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms; if you do not agree, you must stop using the Software. The Developer may also update the Software at any time, with or without notice, and may add, change, or remove features, including AI models and AI Service functionality. The Developer has no obligation to provide any updates or to maintain the availability of any particular feature or model.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Nova Scotia for any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Software, except that the Developer may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION, AND ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. Nothing in this Section limits any mandatory consumer dispute-resolution rights you may have in your jurisdiction of residence, or any rights you have against Valve under the SSA.
18. General Terms
- Support. The Developer supports the Game and the AI Service (contact below). Issues with your Steam account, Steam Wallet, or purchases on Steam are supported by Valve via https://help.steampowered.com/.
- Entire Agreement. This Agreement (together with the Privacy Notice and the SSA and Steam rules that apply to your use of Steam) is the entire agreement between you and the Licensor regarding the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, whether written or oral.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- No Waiver. The Developer's failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or your rights under it without the Developer's prior written consent; the Developer may assign this Agreement freely. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void.
- Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
- Electronic Acceptance. You agree that your clicking "I Agree" (or equivalent) and your use of the Software constitute your legally binding electronic signature on and acceptance of this Agreement.
